Client Overview:
The First Nations Technology Council is an Indigenous-led, innovative non-profit mandated by First Nations leadership in British Columbia. They work to advance digital literacy, improve internet connectivity and provide guidance on data and digital technology for all 204 First Nations across the province.
Challenges:
The client needed help putting on several webinars about technology for their members and stakeholders.
Objectives:
Canadian Webinar Solutions (CWS) was tasked with:
- Registration: Creating and managing a Simple but effective registration process.
- Technical Support: Providing real-time technical support to webinar participants.
Solution:
CWS prepared a registration page and provided staff to provide support.
- Registration management: We prepared an intuitive registration page that was easy for participants to use.
- Webinar support: The CWS team was responsible for replying to inquiries from registrants prior to and during the webinar for any technical needs related to registration and participation in the webinar.
Outcome:
Participants were able to easily register for and take part in the webinar.
- Successful registration: All participants were able to successfully register for the webinar through the designed registration process.
- Technical help: During the webinar, CWS was able to promptly provide assistance to any participants that were having issues accessing the webinar or using the webinar platform.
Conclusion:
The whole webinar process, from registration to execution, was a success. The webinar registration was smooth and easy for participants to navigate. All registrants received access links in a timely manner. CWS handled any technical issues that participants had before and during the webinar.
