Client Overview:
The Canadian Urological Association is a professional organization for urologists in Canada. It provides patient resources, guidelines, education, events, research and a journal.
Challenges:
The client was organizing an in-person conference for the Atlantic Canadian Uro-Oncology Group (ACUOG). Since not all participants were able to easily travel and attend the meeting in person, they required a means of simultaneously broadcasting the event to an online audience.
Objectives:
Canadian Webinar Solutions (CWS) was tasked with:
- Broadcast live Event: Stream the live event from the venue to an online audience.
- Virtual Management: Manage virtual participant technical questions and assist where required.
Solution:
- Event Streaming: Secure CWS team members to attend the event and provide relevant equipment set up, testing and troubleshooting, to enable a live feed to the online audience.
- Hybrid Online Event: Provide CWS team members to manage online attendees and communicate with the team at the venue to ensure successful online streaming.
Outcome:
- On-site management: Our experienced technicians set up all the required equipment, executed technical checks and established a reliable event stream.
- Virtual Presence: The CWS online team coordinated with the on-site team, ensuring the event love stream was broadcast correctly. They also provided real-time technical support to virtual attendees.
Conclusion:
CWS was able to provide a hybrid event solution that ensured successful streaming of the live event to a virtual audience. Doing so meant that a larger audience was able to take part in the event.
